Everything comes from an alarming observation: in Seine-Saint-Denis, one in five women had never made mammography. In view of this reality, the Primary Sickness Insurance Fund of 93 decided to take action by imagining a mobile campaign to go directly to meet these women, in their neighborhoods, in front of their town halls, near their metro stations...
To achieve this ambitious project, the CPAM 93 has come closer to LCR-HEALTHCARE. Our role: to provide renting a mammography truck, turnkey, with driver-operator and integrated logistics. A flexible solution that allows health insurance funds to experiment with this type of device without heavy investment, while benefiting from state-of-the-art equipment.
The Mammobile 93: a mobile health unit that makes the difference
The Mammal 93 is not just a medicalized truck. It is a real mobile health centre, thought in its every detail for the comfort of patients and the working conditions of medical staff.
Inside, everything was designed to make the experience soft and reassuring:
- A reception area and changing rooms optimized for comfort
- The mammography room equipped with the latest mammograph Pristina VIA from GE HealthCare
- Medical practice with desk, photo reading screens, mobile ultrasound and medical chair
- PMR access for women in wheelchairs
- Internal walls for radiation protection, all air-conditioned rooms
- An energy produced independently through a battery system and 12 solar panels on the roof
Results that speak for themselves
The first campaign, conducted from September to December 2025, was a resounding success: more than 2,000 mammograms made !
With this result, the CPAM 93 renewed the operation in 2026, with the ambition to achieve 3,000 women So far outside the care path and share this experience with other MAPCs across the country.
A 100% electric tractor!
To draw this set, LCR-HEALTHCARE opted for the Scania 45 S 100 % electric, first Scania electric tractor sold in France.
With 450 kW of power, 624 kWh of batteries and more than 400 km of range, it combines eco-responsible performance and commitment.
One electric range thought for more responsible health mobility Even at the stop, the unit is powered by a lithium battery system, supplemented by 12 solar panels installed on the roof, ensuring electrical autonomy for on-board equipment.
This solution allows quiet, comfortable and suitable for a care environment.
Combined with the 100 % electric Scania 45 S tractor, it reduces CO2 emissions both at a stop and on the road, and illustrates our desire to develop a more sober, modern and environmentally friendly medical mobility.
